Discovering affordable alternatives to expensive health products can be a game-changer. You know those popular posts featuring Kylie Jenner's 'looks for less' or Lululemon 'dupes'? Well, I've taken that concept and applied it to the realm of health products. Because let's face it, maintaining a healthy lifestyle can often put a dent in your wallet. That's why I've made it my mission to scout out cost-effective options that provide equal, if not superior, nutritional value. I've gathered a selection of wallet-friendly substitutes for your favorite health products that will help you save without compromising on your well-being.
These items both contain few minimally processed ingredients without any inflammatory additives. The main difference is Three Trees contains strictly almonds while Oats & Seeds contains oats, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Oats & Seeds does contain 3g of added sugars per serving but overall is a better option than other nut & seed milks full of gums
In this instance I actually prefer the cheaper option. Trader Joe’s raw almond butter has one ingredient: Almonds! Justin’s has palm oil which I don’t love. Apparently palm oil is often added as a low-cost way to avoid natural oil separation and as a filler to boost margins. Not a fan - I’ll take the natural separation thank you
While the cold pressed Vita Coco has a smoother consistency, it also contains added sugars. Not much, but still, no reason for that. The TJ's version has one ingredient; pure coconut water. I'm sure you noticed a theme here - generally, the fewer ingredients, the better.
